Which insurers are OK with Cat C write offs?

Trying to get insurance for my Cat C write-off - the comparison sites don't include this option so I am ending up being sent to the underwriters each time.

Is there a list of companies who will easily insure Cat C write offs?

Thanks very much

Not to sure try a search engine and see what it throws up
cat c is that when the car needs a vic check to be declared safe for the road again -

i have seen a few cat c cars for sale but not sure how they will hold up in and accident i mean are they still safe?

    just intrigued that’s all
People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

Depends entirely on the car and how it's been repaired. Category C just means that the repair costs at an insurer's garage would have exceeded the market value of the car. It says nothing about how bad the damage actually was or how the repairs have been done. An old car with little market value might be written off because of a cracked bumper or a badly dented door - obviously that would be easy to repair safely with a door/bumper from a scrapyard. Major structural damage which can't be repaired safely at any price should put a car into category A or B.
