How to glue beads onto flower oasis

Can someone recommend how to glue small beads on to floral adhesive , I have used pva but it's messy and dosent stick that well ?

You will be lucky to get any sort of glue that will stick! Can you stick them on to paper or fabric and drape them?

Wonder if you could stick the beads onto pin's or wire & stick them into the oasis that way?

I use a glue gun but although they stick on. One knock and the glue stays on and the oasis part falls off.
I have also covered the oasis in matching paper and then glue gunned the beads on :-)
