Tax Credit Overpayment

We are currently paying off an overpayment at £75 per month. I ticked the wrong box so accept responsibility. But I received a new pack to fill in and then I have had no less than 6 text messages telling me to renew my tax credits. Should I renew even though I am paying them back for an overpayment?

They must know they gave me a total and I am paying them back to the tune of £75 per month for then next 16 months!

We did not get anything last year it took a while till they realised I had some still to pay back. For a while they took it out of what we paid. I have done it online anyway as they kept pestering me. Just wondered what would happen. If we qualified again or would they say no beacause we still owe them.

If we do get some I do not mind them taking it for the overpayment save me paying them every month. Did a check if we qualified or not and gave us a reading of £1,300 so that would pay them back and leave a little over.

Just checking previous statements my last payment was June 2013 so that explains why they have told me to reapply I guess.

That sounds ridiculous what is the point if you get nothing.
