Parking for Gatwick North

Need to park at Gatwick North between 10:00 23/09 and 02:00 03/10.
I'd always rather park in an official airport car park and so looking at Gatwick's site they have Long Stay + Premium security at the south terminal for £84 which is the same price as their "Summer Special" (leave your keys) at the North terminal.
Self-parking seems better to me and I can just take the monorail between terminals but does anyone have any idea if the premium security will be valid in the north terminal?
If so, it'll more than save me the transit time between the terminals and so makes the most sense to order!

What do you mean valid? The "premium security" is simply them going on about it being manned 24/7, CCTV, fencing etc. I dont think the staff will go on strike because someone has parked in a different terminal than they are flying from.0
