IE web page encoding problem!

I have a very frustrating problem with Internet Explorer some of the web pages I access I can't see the contents But if i change the page encoding to Central European (Windows) the contents appears. But if I refresh the page the encoding setting changes by it's self and the contents disappeares.....It's driving me mad!!
Also I cant see most of the pages on Microsoft.com.
Even if i change the encoding :-(
Please Please Please throw some light on this for me.

Use firefox!

On a more serious note, which version of IE is it? If its less than 7 then try getting to windows update site and update it, If it is 7 try uninstalling it from add remove windows components.

Sorry about the delayed response but it's a night mare trying to access the internet
I had IE6 then i tried updating to 7 but still the same problem so uninstalled 7 but still the same i'm going mad.......I have hunted around on google there seems to be alot of people with the same problem but as yet no cure :mad:
Any help would be great!
