CSA Calculation and Collect & Pay etc...

Hi All,

My daughter is due to start college in 4 weeks time. It will mean that she will no longer be living with her Mother and will be living in residence at the college.

Will this effect my CSA payments? Whilst I understand my parental responsibility towards my daughter, I want to ensure that the money goes to where it’s needed.

To avoidcollect and pay, does this mean making an agreement with my ex?

Thanks

Paying child support usually means that the parent you pay to has day to day care of the child.

Really you need to speak to your child's mother and see whether she is financially supporting the child. If she is then you can come to an arrangement about child support

Of course if your child is not receiving any financial support from their mother then you might want to consider what financial support you could provide for your child whilst they are still in full time education.
