Best advice would be to keep out of it to be honest.
There will be times they have to work out what is best for the kids when they don't agree what is best as the same thing.
If you want to keep a good relationship long term with all of them try not to express your own opinions and just encourage them to keep talking.

I would split it at 2 nights. However, he gets to see his children more, they get the stability if being in their own home and surely he wants whats best for them. So unless he his paying towards other things like school uniform, trips etc then I see nothing wrong with just the 1 nights deduction for when they are his.£2 Savers club £0/£150
