    They'd still issue a ticket if your car was on fire or had the wheels stolen, they literally don't care about mitigation. However that's not a problem as you can completely destroy the basis for the charge anyway, rather than trying to appeal to their good nature.

    Hello All!

    So I had in fact posted the shortened version on the newbie thread and sent the letter on the 9th August, they got back to me on the 8th September and cancelled the charge on 'goodwill'.

    I can post up what I actually sent and the reply letter if it will help people ongoing?

    Thankyou so much everyone for the excellent advice and coupon mad for a super template!

    I was so upset with the injustice of it all and now its all resolved. You guys are providing a great service :)) Good Karma to you All.

    LOL! we know that letter pretending it was an admin error. You will see your letter lots of times if you search the forum for 'UKPC goodwill'!
