Refund for faulty item - please help!

So to cut a long story short - I ordered a personalised photo keyring from an online retailer, when it arrived it was of terrible quality and the photo did not look like the one I had sent to them so I deemed it faulty and contacted them that same day and requested a refund, they were quite rude and basically said tough but send it back to us. I did this by first class post and obtained a receipt from the post office, two weeks have passed and the company are claiming they have not received it. I have showed them proof of posting but as far as they are concerned they haven't got it so not refunding, is there anything I can say or do?

You can claim from Royal Mail after 15 working days.0

Yes I saw that on RM website, I just didn't want this company to get away with providing such poor quality items and terrible customer service, I'm pretty sure they have the item to be honest but just don't want to refund me.0

Unfortunately without proof of delivery there isn't much you can do about the company.0

You could name the company here. It might help others who are considering ordering photo keyrings or other goods that they sell. I know it won't get you a refund though.0
