If you have these replaced you will appreciate having no stairs!
Bungalows are great, you get better use of the space. Perhaps you could find a bungalow a bit larger than the one you showed?
Not within our price range in the location we want. There are only three and they are all two-bedroom. One, in the same road, is in dreadful condition and the other one, over the border in Staffordshire, has a smaller plot and nowhere near as many local facilities.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

On the right hand side level with Property Details not your usual terraced house.
Just click on map

I kept getting an error message.
However now I have a map, but there is nothing to denote where my house is.
It's just off the A41, into Newhampton Road West and first turn on the right.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Yes I know where you are, I had a friend lived in Newbridge Street, on the right going north up the outside steps to the first floor flat.
There is a symbol which looks like a "it's here" marker on other sites I use but looking at another map it may be Dunstal Park. Like I said my eyes aren't that good these days. The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
We've just heard that our mortgage broker has managed to get us a mortgage on our existing home. This means that, with our savings, we can now buy the bungalow outright without selling our house first. This will give us time to repair the garage and have the bungalow rewired and a new kitchen installed before we move in.
When this major work has been done, we can then put our house up for sale, and when the sale is gong through, can move into the bungalow at our leisure.
Then when the sale of our house completes, we repay the mortgage.
Exactly what we wanted to do. We are truly blessed.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Update: The mortgage on our own house fell through BUT we have been granted one on the bungalow and the conveyancing is progressing. Hopefully there will be a couple of months between buying the bungalow and selling our house, to give us time to do the work...
....and we have a viewing on our house tomorrow. Wish us luck!(AKA HRH_MUngo)

The viewing didn't happen, but I have now had a change of circumstances which mean we don't have to sell our house straight away so for now it is off the market
Purchase of bungalow progressing, solicitor says hopefully 6-8 weeks.(AKA HRH_MUngo)
