Change of direct debit date?

For the past 16 months have been with Three and paying my monthly bill by direct debit due to come out on the 17th, however for the last few months I notice it comes out around the 13th.

I know you get variations but they still put down the 17th till now and on current months one changed it to payment due around the 14th.

I assumed at first that the times when it came out around the 13th were months when the 17th fell on a weekend.

I know its not that important but when you are on benefits taking payment a few days early means you have to arrange your income around the direct debit, its just lucky I am quite thrifty.
