PPI - confused about reclaiming

For over a year I have been phone bombed by companies who tell me that I am due a PPI payment. Mostly I hang up but a couple of times I asked where they got my details from & what evidence do they have that I paid for PPI.

Interestingly the answers are the same from them

'From 2002-2011 I had a loan where I paid PPI' is what they tell me.

During that time the only loans I had was with was the co-op:-

A career development loan

Another loan (which partly paid back the career development loan on better terms.)

Apparently, I might not have asked for PPI but it was included as part of my interest on my career development loan.

On calling the co-ops PPI line I got a no that I have never requested PPI (which is true) so I do not come up on their system. SO NOTHING TO CLAIM back according to them.

What do I do? Also can anyone recommend a reclaimers that are not a scammer?

Thank you

That is not possible. However, some dodgy claims companies will tell you that.

Most CMCs are worse than the banks were. They are effectively mis-selling their misselling service.

If Co-op have told you that you didnt have it and you still dont believe them then spend £10 and do a data subject access request.
