Payday loan defaults

Hello
I wondered whether anybody might be able to give me some advice on some defaults currently on my credit file.
Due to some very stupid mistakes I missed some payments i owed to two payday loan companies, Wonga and Quickquid. Defaults were placed on my accounts, but within a few months i managed to pay back all of the money that i owed.
I am a little concerned about two things. Firstly, Wonga and Quickquid never served me with a notice of default. Am I correct in thinking that I may be able to get these removed from my file?
Secondly, when i logged in to Noddle to review my credit file a couple of months ago, one of the defaults was showing as being issued in April 2014. However, i logged into my Noddle account yesterday to find that Quickquid had changed the date of the default - i paid them off in full on 3rd July, and the default date has been changed to 3rd July! Are companies able to do this?
This has definitely been a valuable lesson in managing my finances and is not a mistake I will be repeating! If anybody is able to advise me on any of the issues mentioned in this post i would be extremely grateful. I'm particularly concerned about the default date change from Quickquid.
Thank you.

Very unlikely to get them removed. All they have to do is issue a later default notice and then you will get screwed for longer, probably.
They are not allowed to change the default date. Complain in writing/email to get that fixed.:beer:0
