HELP Sat Nav european street level

I am looking to buy a sat nav system for use in my car and hire cars. It will need to have European street level maps either pre-loaded or on another disk. I have looked at a navman 510 and a tomtom 300. It is all a bit confusing, having looked at so many websites!

Can anyone give me some advice about which system to go for and he best place to get it from.

Is ebay any good for the europe maps currenly £35 ?( navman V3)
Amazon sees to be the best for the navman icn510 (uk) at £349

Thanks in advance Rob

    Hi

I just got a tom tom 300 recently and would highly recommend it ,
paid £370 from pcworld which is about average

read up about all sat nav systems and this seemed best option for price

also just downloaded from the web all the speed camera locations around the uk , so now it warns when one is approaching

you can download european maps etc for about £45 or buy a disc
Help enough people get what they want and you will automatically get what you want
