Russian worded ads on forums.

Hi,
I'm getting ads worded in Russian either in a group of three or as a banner on some forums/web pages that I use. the group of three are,
Forex trading, affair dating and news portal, also acedsys.net appears in the address bar when I've clicked on them.
I'm suspecting that this is some kind of adware/malware but malwarebytes will not shift it.
Has anyone experienced this and can advise me how to get rid of it.

Run both AdwCleaner and then the Junkware Removal Tool. Reset your Browsers and then apply the MVPS HOSTS file

How do you mean "reset your browsers" and what do I do with the MVPS Hosts file.

imho

I think reset your Browser means to disable/un install all add ons and extensions. So its like when you first downloaded your Browser.

And clicking on the link tells you what to do with the MVPS hosts file.

Reset Firefox

Reset Chrome

Hi guys,
I've got up to the "apply the MVPS HOSTS file" but it all seems a bit overwhelming and I'm afraid that I may !!!! it up trying to follow the installation instructions.
Is there a simple way to install it.

Windows 7 NIfty.

So you download and save the .zip file. Then you 'un-zip' the contents and 'right click on the mvps.bat file and choose 'Run As Administrator and follow the prompts. That's it.
