I don't find the eucalyptus works on keeping the 'fog' off but it is a good stain remover especially mildew, it's strong stuff so always be careful when using it and if you have sensitive skin use gloves.
Value shaving foam is a good one, cheap too. Anti Fog glass cleaner from the £1 shop works just as well as the Halford stuff. 'Fog Off' used on motorbike helmets works well but is expensive. One day I might be more organised...........

Fab, thanks everyone. I tried shampoo last night - wiped it well into half the mirror and it has definitely made a difference but still unable to see yourself in it. Think I'll get a can of shaving foam and try that next!Piggypoints - 207+£10 * Quidco - £95 * Tesco - 1095 * Sainsbugs - 4237

Any liquid detergent (so the cheapy washing up liquid is perfect). What I do is rub it into the mirror with a cloth and then buff with another cloth.

Hi miss_phish,
There's an older thread on demisting mirrors with lots of ideas that may help so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.

Can anyone remember what to put on bathroom mirrors to stop them steaming up. Thanks. If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Spring begins on 21st March.0 -
I've heard that shaving foam rubbed into the mirror with a cloth will help stop steam on a mirror, although I've not tried this.
I have a shelf under my bathroom mirror and have found that if you light a candle or small tealight the heat from that also prevents steam quite well - handy for plucking your eyebrows after a shower!2013: Interflora Vouchers, Christmas Decorations, NNUK goody bag, thermos flask, macwet gloves0
