Switching energy supplier when I have FIT with EON

Hi

1. I currently have my Gas and Electricity bills on Direct Debit with EON. Also I have my Feed in Tariff (FIT) with EON!

2. Does anyone know if my FIT payments stay with EON if I switch to another energy supplier or do I have to switch the FIT to the new supplier that I might change to?

3. Is there anyone on this forum with their energy supplies with one company and their FIT payments with another?

Thanks in anticipation.

Peter

Energy suppliers and FiT suppliers are completely separate. I'm with NPOWER for gas and electricity but with GOOD ENERGY for FiT.

Switching supply does not affect your FIT's, unless your outgoing supplier is not part of the compulsory FIT's register, in which case they may decline to process them after you leave. But all the Big Six are.

Did you miss the thanks I gave to the previous poster clarifying the position for me?

    Hi Broadmarsh,

Looks like you’ve got the answers to your questions here, I’ll just confirm from our side.:D

You can choose the supplier of your choice to supply your gas and electric, your FIT account can still stay with us.

We’ve got lots of frequently asked question on our website that might help answer other questions, or you know where I am if you need anything else.

    Thanks

No, I was expanding on the reply given. Though I rather wish I hadn't bothered...

I did not intend anything other than ask a civil a question of you. Did you take it the wrong way? Sorry if you did!
