Dear all
I am desperately trying to remember the name of the car finance company that I bought a car on HP through in the 90s. I am pretty sure the name began with the letter "O" and it was a single name similar to "Ocean" finance but dealt with just car finance I believe.
Can anyone remember this company as can't find anything that is jogging my memory online (as soon as I see the name I will know it).
Thanks very much in advance.

Also pretty sure I remember them sponsoring at least one televised major show jumping event. Thanks0

You dont need to know the finance people. You complain to the broker or dealer that sold it to you. Not the lender.
However, most brokers did not become regulated until January 2005. So, you would expect to be rejected if a broker or car dealer was used to provide the finance.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Problem is it was car finance through this company that the small car garage used and the car garage is no longer operating and no dealer involved. Be grateful if anyone can remember the company name. Thanks0

Then your complaint is completely over, since the grage sold it to you and they no longer operate.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

The seller carries the liability for the sale of the PPI. Not the lender. As the FSCS only started offering protection on PPI after Jan 2005, your complaint is over.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
