hello all
hope this ok to be posting on this thread. well where to begin currently renting (social housing) looking to buy this property not financially able yet, but we're trying to improve whats been quite a neglected house. Next door who own there property dont seem to maintain theres in anyway
quite depressing really as this is our perfect area to live and next doors is an eye sore feel like we have no choice/rights because we rent there garden is overgrown now theres all weeds/bushs overgrown into our garden:( we let the children play at the front and because we're doing up ours still we havent made a big issue because apparently the girl who lived here before there was major neighbor wars and cctv installed and damage to cars etc I really dont want to go down that route. But they have a conservatory well if you could call it that its full of rubbish the gutters full of moss and weeds, we've noticed a pool of water and all the side of house getting muddy so me and hubby decided to buy slabs and slab to try and improve appearance. But what we thought was water from gutters (which absolutely stinks and full of flies) keeps leaking as if it is coming from there conservatory. My hubby very politely told them and they dont seem that bothered and just said oh dear we'll get someone round (I have no faith this will happen) he didnt even come and have a look. But he did say we've had leaks before and had to have the floor up! I just wanted some advice/ feedback. 1) can you build conservatory's out of breeze blocks 2) what could the water be 2) where do we stand with the overgrown bit. Also I will be speaking to our landlord tomorrow, I have done in the past and they kinda shrugged shoulders.
thanks
