Hello all I am handing in my resignation letter to work tomorrow. As I am leaving the country to be with my other half.
I am having trouble working out, how much money I will get. I wonder if you helpful folks can help me.
I am on salary, which is payed monthly, on the last working day of the month. I earn £1307.03 a month after ni and tax deductions. My salery before deductions is £18720.
I have 14 days payed holiday not taken.
Please help as the current figure I have is £2151.51p

I get £2049, but that's assuming that your monthly rate can be divided by 20 and multiplied by 14 to get your holiday pay and that you'll actually get your full holiday entitlement even though you are leaving before the end of the year, and we don't know when your firms year ends (I've worked both at companies which say Dec31, and ones which say April).0 -
And don't forget that if you're leaving the country you may well be able to get back some or all of the tax you have paid since April 6th, form P85.
