    By setting my cross funding SOs to the 1st of the month (or any date up to the 25th) I don't have to "check my diary" at all. :)

    I don't understand the value of setting up the weekly standing orders either. The money can be deposited on any date during the the month, so it doesn't matter if it sometimes goes in on the 3rd or 4th (or later).
