Second Hand Car - Repair

Dear all,
I recently bought a second hand car from a dealer in early May which after a few weeks required a pretty hefty repair (new head gasket, pump & cam belt). Due to work commitments I was unable to return the car to the dealer and paid for the work myself using garage have used for over 15 years.
I was wondering, what rights, if any, I have to claim back the money from the dealer. No mention of the faults were made during purchase though 2 of the repairs are standard (new pump and cam belt) for a Ford Fiesta of this age (53 reg).
Thanks for your help.

Your rights sat with the original vendor, by getting it repaired at a third party its no longer their problem...0

Did you contact the selling dealer before you put the car in for repair elsewhere? did they advise they would reimburse for the repair?
If it is something that you believe the original dealer is responsible for under the warranty they provided then the car should have been returned to them for repair0
