Bank has taken my money but no overdraft

It seems pretty clear but I could be missing something. You went into an unauthorised overdraft by around £182. That happened because you took out £200 that was there to cover a purchase before the purchase went through. The money you paid in just paid that off that unauthorised overdraft and that's why your balance is only £113 after paying in £295. Is that not it? Odd that the balance showed as 0.00 exactly, but it doesn't change the 'real' balance.
Give them a call. They'll probably drop any charges if you ask them nicely.0 -
If its only the first bag that has caused the unauthorised overdraft, I can't help wondering why someone with only £800 savings wants to spend that much on a bag!
Each to their own i suppose.0 -
The available balance will never show a minus balance, it will only ever show 0.00 if you're overdrawn. It's telling you that you don't have any money available to spend, not what your actual balance is.0
