MG - :rotfl: now that is tempting...! :p

Managed to brave the outside world for a bit today. The weather was beautiful and I already feel like I've missed out loads so was nice to make the effort. Feeling ok but very tired now

Sounds as if you've had it a lot worse than me, I've only been laid low for 2 days, and having not eaten anything for 2 days, must be feeling slightly better, as thinking I could send out for a Chinese carry out - I'm so hungry.

A nice shower and a bit of fresh air should tomorrow should tell, although like you will be feeling rather weak.

Hope your over the worst now on the road to recovery.

Thanks AFK - I'm definitely on the road to recovery now. Feeling brighter again today and happy that each day brings improvement (if only a small amount)

Wanting food is a good sign...I hope that you have managed to eat something. I really dislike being unable to eat...that was how I knew I was really poorly :(

Feeling a bit blah again tonight. Not sure if I have overdone things today. Was just nice to be out and doing things. Hopefully a chilled evening and a good night's sleep will sort me out again.
  • Aww hope you're feeling better this morning BW. Your body will need time to adjust after being so ill.

    Morning

I'm a little fuzzy headed but feel better than last night. MG - I think you are right in that it will just take time. It's just that I'm impatient ;)

No real plans for today. A few minor house jobs and then plenty of rest. It's raining outside so won't be too much bother staying inside. May try and catch up on some surveys as they have been much neglected for the last week

It has transpired that the bank have messed up and the remortgage completion didn't complete yesterday  They have admitted their error but I'm still peeved about it... especially as I was VERY late being told about it. So now have to wait until Monday to sort and also no idea what it means for my payments, etc.

It does make me understand why some people are reluctant to change things...as when you do there often seem to be various issues. Although having said that the outgoing provider have had their own issues this year...so maybe it's just the way financial services are these days?

Glad you are improving each day, a bit like myself.

I didn't have the carry out I craved for, and still haven't eaten anything (other than a banana yesterday and 1 today but have had a slice of toast today as well, so things are improving.

It's not that I'm not hungry, just know what would happen if I ate anything. And was up for watching a bit of tv - oh, the amount of food programmes that are on are unbelievable, every channel I flipped to ... was food :rotfl: it looked so good, I was thinking, I don't even like that, but if it was put down to me, i'd eat it :D

Oh and pants to the mortgage mix up. Hopefully they will be apologetic and some compensation will be coming your way, just make sure they know they have caused you a great deal of inconvenience not
    to mention the stress.

Sorry to hear about the mortgage mixup! I agree with AFK - emphasise the hassle/drama of not having it completed correctly and see if they offer you anything.
