I have a citroen picasso and the front washer jets are not working. When the stalk is pulled the motor whirrs and wipers work but no fluid, instead fluid comes out of the back washer jet when you normally turn the stalk for the back one to work.

I am assuming a blockage somewhere that is causing it to divert to the back any ideas how to try to shift this? Seems quite hard to get to any parts, have wd40d the front washers to no avail, would emptying the tank and trying hot water work in case it is gunked? Not sure how long that would take and dont want to knacker motor

Assuming you have enough fluid in there its more likely to be a pump issue.

They still spin but fail to pump any water.

Take the tube off the back of the jets and see if you get anything coming out.

I don't know what the Picasso is like but where the water comes out, get a pin or small needle and see if it's blocked with dirt.
