Scottish Power Tariff Switch

Hi, I am currently on Scottish Powers Feb 2015 fixed tariff which has a combined £50 exit fee, does anyone know if this still applies if I switch to another SP tariff (Fixed Sep 2015, no exit fees) as the terms only state about switching to 'another supplier'.

    No penalty within Scottish Power.

We are in August already, how time flies.

You can switch again in September 2014 if a better deal comes along around September time to catch the switching lemmings.

Do it online, you'll die from old age waiting on the phone.

There was another thread going on where users are suggesting that one can switch to 'standard' tariff without penalty and then move out to a new provider with zero to nominal exit fee depending on supplier.
  • Thanks for the help, the Sep 2015 fix is open and is the best swap for me due to exit fees on my current tariff.
Tried to do it online and got 'Something went wrong' please call us so might have to wait till old age catches up with me :rotfl:

The September 2015 fixed tariff has no exit fees, so you can switch from (eg) the SP March 2015 tariff (£50 exit fee, but nil if you switch to another SP tariff), then switch out altogether to your choice of supplier without any exit fee
