Im not sure I should be promoting overseas charity on here. I think theres a rule about it somewhere but yes they do.
Obviously I haven't promoted the site for financial gain, just to share my pride with you all.
Material things such as clothes, bedding, nappies are always in demand but as my youngest daughter found out recently postage to South Africa is quite expensive.
This is a newly set up link for monitary donations. I expect it will be deleted given time.

Well we have had a busy afternoon. After dejunking one of the two sheds the other day. Hubby and I finally got the motivation to clear the other shed out today. Lots of old rusted tools that were my Dads, empty and rusted tins of paint as well as spiders and cobwebs were amongst the treasures. Three car loads have now been disposed of. At a push both sheds could be used to house the lot but that's not really the plan just yet. For now its just handy having a 'house shed' and a 'work shed'.
Its all been swept out and rearranged and before there wasn't enough room to swing a cat (poor pu55y) but now theres enough room to swing two pu55ys (if you were cruel enough).
I have other plans too but due to my hubbys resistance to change, they will have to be bought in slowly.... months rather than days but at least we have started.
Moaning all the way through sorting through the junk, hubby now admits he is pleased we've done it.
He's now agreed to sell the greenhouse. Bought 3 or 4 summers ago from the garden centre. What a waste of £800 that was!
Now I'm waffling.

Thanks for the lovely comments. Yes I am very proud of the work the girls do. I did mention to hubby yesterday and he looked at me horrified. If he dies before me, I'd probably go out there to help the girls. I know very little about life outside my 4 walls but babies and children I'm comfortable with (probably because i had 5 of my own).
I have asked my daughter for pictures and names of all the babies they have had in their care that they have either reunited with family or had adopted. I have had pictures before but to keep up with who they have presently, I tend not to keep the ones that have moved on. She said she will and to remind her in a day or two. She's a bit busy with moving home/baby house at the moment. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Judi - They are all so gorgeous! What a wonderful job they are doing.
Happy Anniversary Sistercas
good advice - we had a whippet that pick blackberries!
LW - enjoy your visitor.
Not done much today, sorted out a few bits and bobs and watched the backs of my eyelids for a while! Cooked stir fry with chicken for tea, DD came in soaked from the hockey again.
Take care. XX0 -
The DGC have just left, we had a lovely day with them & despite DD worrying as they were at each others throats before they arrived we split them up & they were fine. Hubby gardened with one & I made cookies with the other, then we swapped them over. By then they had calmed down & we played domino's for ages, then after lunch hubby played chess with one & draughts with the other one & I had a Nana nap.
Hubby's now snoozing & I've cleared up the kitchen, it brings tears to my eyes to see them enjoying such simple pleasures, now their life is so much safer & better than it was.
Judi, I love hearing about the Baby House, I have made a very small donation, every little helps.

That's very kind of you. My daughter says the exchange rate is very good so your small donation will amount to a sizable sum.
