Is there any reason why i can't change my flexdirect to flex account? 5% was finished with flexdirect in May so i plan to change to flex account. Then reapply for flex direct to benefit in 5% again in 12 months time has any1 else done this?

From their website FlexDirect support pages...
I have a FlexDirect account; can I change it to a FlexAccount?0 -
Phoned them today(sunday) but used customer service number as the number quoted on that link went dead. Straight forward, change with advisor. Though did take 15mins. Acc no are kept the same as flex direct acc. Change is seen online straightaway. Regarding £750 per month for 3 consecutive months; to be elligible for free travel insurance, does any1 know if i can ping it back out or do i need to maintain £750 to be elligible?0

The requirement is to "credit the account with £750 a month", not maintain a minimum balance of £750.0

credit it then i am ok to take it out straightaway right?0

If the £750 was your monthly salary would you expect them to prevent you from spending it?moneysavinggirl40 wrote: »credit it then i am ok to take it out straightaway right?
But to give you a straight answer, rather than encouraging you to think about it, yes you can take it out straight away...which is what I and many others here have been doing for the last few years.0 -
brilliant! wish I had thought of it earlier. But at least I am swapping now.0

Pretty sure you can't do this, it's a once per customer bonusmoneysavinggirl40 wrote: »Then reapply for flex direct to benefit in 5% again in 12 months time has any1 else done this?0 -
Yes you can.Pretty sure you can't do this, it's a once per customer bonus
From their FlexDirect FAQ...
EDIT: See also condition 1.4 of the FlexDirect T&Cs.If you have previously held a FlexDirect account in the last 12 months, you will not be entitled to the introductory rate or offer under a new agreement and therefore you will receive the standard 1% AER interest rate.0 -
What's the advantage of changing back to Flex? Is it just free travel insurance?0
