Credit Score for Bank Credit Card

Hi Guys

Does anyone have an idea on what credit score you would require as a minimum to get approved for a credit card with your primary bank?

Any help would be appreciated?

'Credit score' doesn't exist. It's a myth invented by CRAs to make money by selling these worthless numbers. Most (all?) providers have their own scoring systems and use only the 'raw' information from CRAs.

You can try MSE's 'eligibility checker' that you can find in all CC articles, but it's not very reliable. Some CCs offer similar tools on their websites.
The only way to know for sure it to apply for real and see the result.

Second to the above reply if you bank with either NatWest,RBS or Nationwide then these offer a "soft search" facility for credit card applications.
It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
