M&S Bank standing order

I have a standing order set up to make payments from my M&S current account to an account elsewhere. Is there a way, using M&S online banking, of checking the sort code and account number of the account that I'm sending to? I can view the payee name, the reference field and the amount but I can't see the account number and sort code.

Oops! I meant a standing order. I've now corrected my question.0 -
Strange but I think the answer to your question is no, you can't see the account details for the payee. The only info you can see/amend are the payment amounts & dates. It's also the same on First Direct current accounts so I guess this applies to all HSBC-based accounts.
I had a different issue on a standing order on an M&S account which was transferred from a Halifax account. When the standing order was set up (about 6 years ago) there was a one-off payment at the start followed by regular payments. When the standing order was transferred as part of the account switching, the one-off payment was somehow revived on the new M&S account so as well as the regular monthly payment being made the one-off initial payment was also made again.
M&S were very apologetic, but were unable to reclaim the payment and suggested that it was a fault with the info received from Halifax. Fortunately the recipient recognised the rogue payment and I'm not out-of-pocket, but I wasn't very impressed!
If you are switching current accounts with standing orders, it's worth double-checking that the first payments go through correctly.0
