Our buyers wanted to do this and the EA told us not to allow them - if nothing else they would be wandering round the house unaccompanied and who would be liable if something broke/went missing.....?
Instead, the EA agreed to meet them at the property towards the end of the survey to discuss it.
What we have done the last couple of times is to call the surveyor as they can be a little less formal (and less a*se covering) than than in the written survey.0
