I'm just fed up of my life being like this....
It all just seems a bit of a f**** mess right now....
I want to mvoe out of where I am to a share somewhere but it just seems like thats not gonna happen... and I just feel totally stuck in a complete rut...
Havent even got any friends where I am to invite round for a b*tch and a bottle of anything. If I had a taste for alcohol I'd have my face in a vat of vodka right now!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

What you have to remember is that it will not last forever. You will eventually be in the situation where you will be able to afford shoes without really thinking too hard about it.
Unfortunately you didn't get here overnight, and you won't get back overnight either.
But until then, you must budget for these things. Shoes and clothes do not last forever, and you must set aside a certain amount of money to cover them.
Yes, yet another budget - but you'll cope."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Debt does reduce your options, but you can increase them again. Why do you feel in a rut? Is it just the moving thing?Havent even got any friends where I am to invite round for a b*tch and a bottle of anything. If I had a taste for alcohol I'd have my face in a vat of vodka right now!
That's always a problem. That is what this site is really the best at. You can have a good old long moan about things, and not only do people know what you're talking about, but they are able to offer good advice in return.
But definitely, you need to try to increase your circle of friends where you are. It may even solve both your problems."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

awww cafc... i understand where you are coming from, remember i had a blow out and got back into debt  however remember yesterday 'As of today I am only £4k indebted to my mum, woohoo! Well in loan money terms' now how long will that take to clear? one year two years? not long in the grand scheme of things... just think being frugal (but remember treats) will get you there quicker, then you have your whole life ahead
i know it looks/seems hard at the moment but trust me this is just a little bit of a bleak time at the momment... i think i may have to hop on a train
oh and btw dont worry about the dress look at it as a treat, if anyone deserves it you do
