Received our reward notice today and noticed on it
"we have used an income of £19884 to work out your payments because many people get a pay rise each year"
I'm a little mythed...
- we provided them details of our income for 2013-2014
- our income was actually about £18k-£18.5k
Although i'm wondering, as well as why they made up their own numbers, whether it's even worth phoning them!...

its miffed and not mythed.
they are looking at any payrise in the current year.
if you dispute this then ring them.
but unless you expect your income to be 2.5 k less than they figure they quoted ... it makes no difference to the award they made

Our 14/15 award notice based on 13/14 income....
My income is set to change significantly from September.
Our income will change this year (14/15) to circa £1k less.
So they've based 14/15 award on £19800; actual about £18k for 13/14 and estimated £17k for 14/15 tax year.0 -
It says 'provisional award' if that changes anything..
I can't remember seeing the factual income info on it but will need to take another look to confirm0 -
Ive been told. This year they are using the real time information feed from their tax system. so thats where they would of got your income from.0

One of us is self-employed so all they'd have for this year is the others. Although the tax return has been sent to HMRC already.blondebubbles wrote: »Getting a provisional award means your renewal hasn't processed yet so basically you confirming your 2013/14 actual income hasn't processed yet.
