Will wrongly address Debt recovery letters affect my credit?

I am concerned after receiving 2 debt recovery letters have arrived this week to my address, it's sent to an ex boyfriend of my daughters but using our address! I have sent them back return to sender unknown at this address, and have emailed one of them, there was no email for the other.
However I know our mortgage has only 5-6 years left to run and will need to extend this, I rang a few months back and they informed me this shouldn't be a problem I just need to phone back with income/outcome expenditure etc. but now I am worried these will effect our credit rating, we don't have any loans , 1 credit card with zero balance (used only for travel) and have never been in debt. I have never taken out a credit rating as I thought even that affects your credit rating, can anyone give me some advice I am extremely worried.

Many thanks
