Hi all .
Im getting different results regarding what benefits i will keep when my partner starts her job on the 19th august. She is starting an apprenticeship with the local council. 37 hrs pw @ £105
Our current financial situation is :
I receive ESA support group 122 pw.
IIDB 49.80 pw
We also get housing benefit - 14%
Council tax benefit
I did a benefit calculator with a disability advisor at the job centre 1 month ago.
Results came back that i would keep the ESA sg as its contribution based, but obviously HB and CTB would change. This is also the results i got when doing the benefits calculator online today.
Phoned the ESA department today , to report changes in circumstances.
They are saying anything that my partner earns would cancel of anything that i get on ESA. Not concerned either way , but just a bit confused, as im getting conflicting info.
Can anyone shed any light
Thanks for reading

did you add your partner to your ESA claim?
if so then you would have received conts based ESA for yourself and an income related ESA top up for her.
obviously if she now has an income, the income related part will stop, but your conts based should continue

that is 100 % correct. she was on my claim0
