I'm getting a cash sum from my late dads estate, however I have a court order I am fighting and I don't want this money in my bank account where it can be possibly seized.
It will be in the region of £5 to 10 ,000 , it would be held by my brother until I sort out this court order, and he lives too far away , so we rarely meet up. So i need a way to have it paid to me in cash, as and when I need it, with no paper trail.
Ideas please ???

I'm no expert but can't see that distribution of funds from an estate would ever be made in cash, to someone else, without some form of documentation, unless you're dealing with some seriously dodgy lawyers!0

Open a basic bank account with a new bank you don't have debt with / have not had a previous relationship with.
This will protect it from offsetting or being siezed by the bank to pay existing debts.
You should not however be concealing assets from a court0 -
Distance makes no difference to bank transfers so if money in your brother's account then it can be moved just as easily if he is in next street as opposite end of country so that's no issue.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

not knowing the full details but
if you have a court order you may be involving your brother in your fraud and expose him to criminal charges.0 -
You seem to have got the wrong end of the stick, I just need some transfer of funds from my brother, that I can get in cash.0

For somebody who doesn't want to leave a paper trail, you're doing an awfully good job of leaving a paper trail.0 -
If your brother is executor and is willing to pay you in cash (which he really shouldn't be and he may have trouble getting that amount in cash anyway - there will certainly be a paper trail of him getting it) then you've 3 choices:
go and collect it
he comes to you with it
have it sent insured mail or by trusted messenger
I suspect matrimonial dispute0
