PPI reclaiming

I had a couple of loans with Yorkshire bank in the mid 90's
They only keep my details for 6 years.
But I have now found all my bank statements from that era.
Will this be enough evidence for them to find out if I paid PPI?
Nothing is mentioned on the statements regarding paying PPI.

The statements only show the loan payments, this is not proof of PPI or if it was paid.
If you have no paperwork and the bank does not either then you cannot make a claim.
You could contact the bank and ask about these loans it can't hurt, you could do a Sar request for £10, this will get you all info they hold on you but be ready for them not being able to find them after all this time.0
