Any idea which area of Paris would be best for a comfortable hotel that is reasonably priced? Thanks.

I love monmartre and sacre coer -have a look on https://www.hotelscomparison.com
you can search by arondissments and area., Even so, check its got about a 4-4.5 rating on tripadviser , and thoroughly read reviews.if you aren't booking last minute I wouldn't go for any less than 4.5 rating on tripadviser in general, this is not the hotel star rating but the reviewers rating and a 4.5 is usually very good assuming you read the reviews too0 -
There is no such thing as a bargain hotel in Paris.
Lowest prices are probably around the Gare du Nord, but as soon as you get there you will see why.
Districts are referred to by numbers (for the word "arrondisement") so the advice above, to look in the 19th and 20th arrondisement, is as good as you will get.0 -
