ordered an item from valuebasket last week for £159.99 & beginning to feel ive been duped !! was ordered on 23rd july & also said 30 + in stock and they keep adding more all the time but obviously they dont have them,been checking the site and its been stock allocated for 3 days and its not changed,i also sent them an email and got this

this company are obviously fobbing me off & im very annoyed what can i do about this & how are they getting away with this,should have done my homework before i ordered this & yes they have took the money straight away :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Although their website has a geographic phone number (0203.....) there does not seem to be an address. I don't think this is legal for a UK based company. Are they based abroad?

have you rung the 0203 number?

hi,im sure ive read somewhere that they are sending the goods from hong kong,im bloody annoyed at myself that ive fallen into this trap as im usually pretty good as avoiding these sites,false advertising is what they are doing saying they have these items in stock and taking the money,not sure if im going to get anywhere with this

You're also going to get hit by import duty when the goods finally make it to the UK.

Delivery may well be free but if the goods are over £15 then VAT is likely to be added and customs duty if the value is above £135.
There will also be a handling fee added by the delivery company.
