A long shot I know but I have found ppi I had on a loan from Barclays in 1989 ,is it to long ago to claim back any ppi

No it's not too long ago. If you've still got the paperwork and good reasons why it might be mis-sold e.g. single premium ppi, you can still complain. I think Barclays have their own claim form on their website and address to send it to. Best of luck.0 -
Thanks sun73, I will give it a go as I still have the paper work, I clearly remember at the time the guy on the end of the phone stating that if I don't take the insurance I don't get the loan
