Cheap Fuel / best benefit cards...??

I generally use my necter card and pick up points as i fuel (2 cars and a bike). We have just moved house and live the other side of town to sainsburys, therefore not the most cost effective way to fuel. I would like to know whats the best rewards system for fuel.
We do our shopping at asda. I have recently joined a gee7 forum where i get 5% discount by buying a asda gift card and using it instore.. can these be used for fuel? (i doubt it) thought about a asda credit card as you get discount on fuel... Or tesco with a club card?
or any other i have missed?
thanks in advance.

In addition to any loyalty scheme at the petrol station e.g. nectar, Clubcard etc.poolforever wrote: »Santander credit card - 3% cash back on all fuel.0 -
Certainly true if the fee is waved for the first year however, I have noted that while I've used this card a lot for both my supermarket shopping and fuel, for the amount of fuel I use it's not really any better than 1% once you minus the fee, which is equivalent to what I would get on my amazon card anyways. But for someone who does a lot of driving, it would be a lot more worthwhilepoolforever wrote: »Santander credit card - 3% cash back on all fuel.0 -
