ESA, ATOS and Moving forward

I have been unable to work due to ill health and losing my job. I am on mid DLA care. I have been on £72pw waiting for ATOS for TEN months. I kept hoping one day I will get the backdated income.

I spoke to dwp today and was told to complain to ATOS (not them) and I will remain on this income. If I come off benefits, which I pray I eventually can when better, I will not get the due backdated income.
I called ATOS and they have no date is sight. I will be sent a customer service booklet.

Not sure if I am making sense here, but this is unfair. Is there anyone to report this to?
Thanks
