    Working longer is an option too, but increased life expectancy doesn't necessitate ability to work longer, so it's not necessarily a viable option.

    We have increased the length of time people live for.

    We have not materially decreased their fragility in old age.



    we have massively reduced the frailty of the older people

    loads of 'old' people run, play squash and tennis, go skiing, play golf, climb mountains, travel the world etc.

    however many can't get jobs because people won't employ them as we have no general labour shortage


    yes there is an issue with the over 90s but then there aren't too many of them
