Ok I stick to gates belts as I have never had an issue with them and know they last I would advise you change the water pump at this stage, althought not driven by the timing belt they are driven the drive or alternator belt IIRC so factor in extra £10.00 for the aux belt, £22.00 for the water pump and £60.00 for the timing belt kit from gates (personally I think that gates price on that site is a bit high I never sold them that expensive when I working in a motor factors, it was normally around £46 inc vat IIRC).asparagus1968 wrote: »thank you,

Gates are also OEM belts supplier to ford for this engine in those days!.
is that Inclusive of vat or plus the dreaded ontop of his labor charge?
If this inc labor on 200 then factor in another £100-£120 for your belt kit aux kit and water pump.0
