Depends on the browser he's using and whether he changed the download directory. Try another download and look Very Carefully! Otherwise, do a search for the first part of the file name.0

Using XP all my downloads go into my download folder unless I have selected another destination.
Just do a search for it0 -
whilst in browser press CTRL and J
this will bring up a list of recent downloads, then you can select the file and see which folder it is in
In firefox - right click to select it and there will be an option to 'open containing folder'
In Chrome a 'show in folder' option is already displayed0 -
Thank you everyone I will now try the CTRL J and if that doesn't work, the search againSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0

In the downloads folder, but it might have the path
C:\Users\name\downloads. Failing that download it again at it should pop up and show where it's going. :cool:0 -
How do I find out how much disk space / memory there is on this PC?Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0

Start, right click on my computer (May be this computer or this pc) and select properties. Left click and properties puts the disks up, right click and properties on the disk will show used and free. :cool:0

If you want to find how much disk space is left, right click on the C: drive icon and choose Properties.
... unless there's more than one HDD. Or the HDD is partitioned.
Open My Computer, and inspect it for all HDDs and partitioned drives fitted.0
