Best Black & White Laser Printer?

Can anyone recommend the best black & white laser printer for under a hundred quid?

I'm looking for the cheapest price/cost of toner cartridges/reliability compromise. Speed & Resolution not important.

I know Staples are flogging an HP Laser for 39.99 in store - but is it any good, and do the cartridges cost more than the printer?

Thanks....

Is it any good? Yes, the hp LJ 1018 nice and quick for a first page out and a high 12ppm not bad for a small printer.
Toner costs? yes they are expensive I think about £40 but you get a constant quality print for about 2000 pages.

I don't think you will get a PCL laser printer for any cheaper than that price.

I seem to remember the samsung ML was hightly regarded around these parts, with a re-fillable cartridge too for extra cheap running costs. It cost around £50

I have a Samsung ML series printer which was cheaper than the replacement toner for my HP1100A.

It has performed very well for over 3 years, and I even refill the toner cartridge myself.

I have a Dell 1110 B&W laser which I am happy with, I got it for £80 last year. Never had to get the toner refilled yet though.
If it takes a man a week to walk to walk a fortnight how long does it take a fly with tackity boots on to walk through a barrel of treacle?
