Mattress fire safety

Hi Guys,
Bought a mattress last week which was made as part of a bedroom set.
However, it wasn't up to my expectations and because I unwrapped it the company won't take it back.
I have tried to donate it to charity but they won't take it because it has no fire safety certificate on it.
Three questions
1. Is the company allowed to sell without the fire certificate.
2. Can they refuse to have it back
3. If so, what can I do with it (who can I donate to)

It is illegal to sell a mattress without a fire label.
Ask the company to take it back for a full refund including any delivery costs.
Also report them to trading standards.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
