Just applied for one,

Got right to the end of the application and it said something like there are a few things we would like to ask you please call us on .... or if you dont we will still consider your application and will write to you with a decision in 7-10 days.

Anyone else had this? Never had it before. Does this mean they are undecided on whether to give me the card or not? Normally you just get a straight yes or no.

Makes sense as i had to put details of my other 4 cards on there so maybe they want to know if i want to do a balance transfer, i may do but didnt have all the card numbers etc with me.

free mp3 player damn i could do with one of those, is it wise to apply for it now? Or should I wait to see what virgin say dont want to have loads and loads of searches.

The deal with the Sony card was that you got a load of Sony points if you opened an account and spent on the card within 60 days (or something like that anyway). you can exchange the points for stuff in the Sony card catalogue - the MP3 player was the best thing you could get with the free points.

The deal's finished now, but keep an eye on Martins weekly e-mail as that's how I heard about it!
