Primer and powder recommendations?

For a cheap alternative, try Rimmel's Stay Matte powder - I find its amazing for reducing shine. To make it look natural, lightly dab your face with a tissue after you have applied it to remove excess. For primer, try milk of magnesia - take the tiniest amount and mix with moisturiser - amazing for oily skin!0

As above poster said the Rimmel Stay Matte is great. Its better than the Mac Setting Powder and its around £2-3. Honestly google it for reviews and all the top makeup gurus rave about it.
You probably only need a little down your t-zone.
Primer wise, illamasqua do one called hydra-veil its still very hydrating but helps the makeup cling to the skin and also stay and not go so oily.
Or the pore-professional by benefit thats pretty good.
I also second the MAC MSF Natural or if u really want to splash out the Chanel Loose Powder its about £36 but you get a hugeee amount and its the most beautiful loose powder ever. Lisa Eldridge uses it on the red carpet for celebrities like Kate Winslet and Keira Knightley and so on. It's the best i've tried and i've tried quite alot.0 -
I've tried the Rimmel and it's awful. It's matt so no matter how much I dab it it will not have the same effect and dabbing it only removes it.
Will find something! If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -

Whole face needs it,shine on the cheeks isn't a good look unfortunately. Sucks because otherwise it is the best foundation ever, it just happens to turn shiny
Just to mention again, for other replies, I do not have oily skin.

When I bought the MAC powder, I cant remember which shade it was a while ago, I found it came out very light in colour so you may want to opt for the slightly darker one of the two especially if there isn't much difference, you don't want to look washed out.0
