There are a couple of stems coming over our fence from next doors climber.
I think its clematis but they have formed pods about the size of a quails egg .
Are these seed pods ?

I'm going to make a wild guess it's a Passion Flower.... Clematis make seed heads, fluffy like a mop head (if you are ancient like me).

It's the right time for Passion Flower fruit... mine are covered!

Google Passion Flower (fruit)... anything like yours?

    Apparently you can.*

I do not, so can't report what they taste like, whether they are good for you, how to tell when ripe, or nuffink. So, do let us know!

*If maggy50 fails to report the results of this experiment, I revise my opinion to a "no you can't "!
